1. Delivery Times & Methods
Standard Delivery: Most greenhouse orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. Estimated delivery in 10-12 business days. Times vary based on your location:
- Domestic (USA & Canada): 7-14 business days after shipment
- Europe: 10-21 business days after shipment
- Other International: 15-30 business days after shipment
Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by weather conditions, customs processing, or carrier delays. We are not responsible for delays beyond our control.
2. Shipping Costs
Flat-Rate Shipping ($199): A flat shipping fee of $199 USD applies to all orders under $2,500 USD, shipped via FedEx within the continental United States.
Free Shipping on Orders $2,500+: Orders totaling $2,500 USD or more qualify for FREE standard FedEx shipping — no code required, applied automatically at checkout.
3. International Shipping & Customs
We ship greenhouses worldwide. However, please note:
- Import Duties & Taxes: All customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other local charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Customs Clearance: You are responsible for clearing your order through customs. We provide all necessary documentation, but delays may occur during inspection.
- Refused Deliveries: If you refuse to pay import duties or fail to clear customs, the order may be returned, destroyed, or abandoned. No refund will be issued in such cases.
- Address Accuracy: Ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for packages sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can track your shipment using:
- The carrier's website (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.)
- Your order confirmation email

Please allow 24-48 hours after shipment for tracking information to update.
5. Delivery Requirements
Signature Required: Due to the value and size of our products, a signature may be required upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package.
Inspection Upon Delivery: We strongly recommend inspecting your greenhouse package immediately upon arrival. If you notice any visible damage to the packaging or contents, please:
- Note the damage on the delivery receipt
- Take photos of the damaged packaging and contents
- Contact us within 48 hours at john@johngreenhouse.com
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
Damaged in Transit: If your greenhouse arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos. We will work with the carrier to file a claim and arrange for replacement parts or a new unit.
Lost Packages: If tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven't received it:
- Check with neighbors or building management
- Verify the delivery address on your order
- Contact the carrier directly
- Contact us within 7 days and we'll assist with a carrier investigation
We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier that you cannot locate.
7. Return Conditions
Return Window: Due to the custom nature and size of our greenhouses, returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under the following conditions:
- Product must be unused, unassembled, and in original packaging
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs (typically $200-$600 depending on size and location)
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns
- Custom or personalized orders cannot be returned
Defective Products: If you receive a defective product, we will cover return shipping and provide a full refund or replacement at no additional cost. Defects must be reported within 14 days of delivery.

8. Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to pay customs fees, you will be responsible for:
- Original shipping costs (if applicable)
- Return shipping costs
- Reshipment costs if you wish to receive the order
9. Order Modifications & Cancellations
Before Shipment: You may cancel or modify your order within 24 hours of placement by contacting us immediately. Once manufacturing begins, orders cannot be cancelled.
After Shipment: Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped. You may refuse delivery, but return shipping costs and restocking fees will apply.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters (storms, floods, earthquakes)
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Carrier strikes or labor disputes
- Government restrictions or customs holds
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
